Creating a new Symbol for Autism
For my senior capstone project, I designed a new symbol to recognize and celebrate autism. The familiar puzzle-piece symbolism grows increasingly outdated as autistic individuals continue to express their distaste for it. Given my unique perspective and my interest in design, I saw this project as an opportunity to both exercise my skills and contribute to my community.
