The Wolpertinger
2020
This drawing was for a project where I was asked to take any image I wanted, put it in black and white, invert it, and draw it in charcoal. I used photoshop to create my version of the mythical wolpertinger which resulted in the image on the top left. The top right is the same image but in black and white and inverted. With these images as a reference I used charcoal to draw the final image shown to the left.
Colored Pencil
2022
This series of drawings is the result of the first and only project that required me to draw with strictly colored pencils. Throughout my schooling, there have been numerous occasions when a professor has asked me to produce high-quality work using a medium or software I had no experience in while also offering minimal guidance. This project was one of those occasions that tested my ability to learn quickly.
The only guidelines for this assignment were that it had to be a series of drawings in colored pencil. To begin I arranged a still life using various October-themed items. After taking three different perspective shots I imported the images into photoshop where I used adjustment layers to create an effect in which the darker values in the image appear purple and the lighter values appear green.
Print Making
2022
These are prints I created in my printmaking class using various techniques such as monotype, linocut, and more.
